Third and final day of filming "Saviour"

Beautiful sunset at Anna Bay

For the third day of filming we decided to get our families involved as well. While we filmed, the kids could play on the beach and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

As always, I was barefoot and in a summer dress. Beginning to think that it's definitely the wrong season for filming this kind of stuff! Nevertheless, nothing was worse than the first day of filming in the creek and not feeling my body.

The wind was extremely strong for a few days before we came to film, and all this sand blew over across the road. My family and I have never used our 4WD for driving on the beach, however we knew the basics. We didn't come prepared at all. Everything was going for a while until one crucial mistake and both our vehicles got stuck!!

Not having any equipment with us, we didn't know what we were going to do until a few good people stopped and helped us get out. They gave us their equipment, and directed us out of the sand. Needless to say, it was a pretty stressful start to our adventure and we vowed to never again be so careless and unprepared.

When we eventually got out of the sand, the sun was already setting. We rushed into the dunes and tried to find a spot without any footprints. We succeeded and got to the perfect spot just in time for the sun to be in the perfect location.

We filmed some scenes where I had to run and collapse, struggle to get up the hill, the scarf was blowing in the wind and flying away, it was all very dramatic!

It was all done pretty quickly and we parted our ways knowing that the fun ended and now the editing begins.

I can't wait to see the final result and share it with the world!
